76240 Batmobile Tumbler: The Biggest Footprint

This one isn't just long — it's wide, in a way that catches a lot of collectors out. A shelf that comfortably fits a 60cm 1989 Batmobile can still be too narrow for the Tumbler's broad rear end. Measure the width before you commit shelf space, not just the length.

76328 Classic TV Series Batmobile: Colour That Actually Stands Out

Almost every other Batmobile on this list is black. This one, based on the 1966 TV series, is red-and-black with chrome detailing — the one set that won't visually disappear into a row of dark vehicles. At roughly 50cm long, it also comes with a display plaque built in.

42127 Technic The Batman Batmobile: Built to Be Seen From Every Angle

The odd one out on this list — a Technic build rather than a standard set, with steering, a moving engine and light elements exposed rather than hidden under a shell. At around 45cm, it rewards a display position where the mechanical detail is actually visible, not tucked against a wall.

76139 / 40433: The Original, in Two Sizes

The 3,306-piece 76139 is still one of the largest Batmobiles LEGO has ever made — a 60cm model with a rotating stand, discontinued in December 2021 and increasingly hard to find new. The 366-piece 40433 Limited Edition was sold alongside it as a promotional companion piece — smaller, but far more substantial than a typical polybag, and a genuinely good option if you want the 1989 car without dedicating 60cm of shelf to it.
